1/10/07

This was at a coffee plantation in Punteareanus, Costa Rica. We were up at 5000 feet.
Their biggest purchaser of the premium coffee beans is you guessed it Starbucks. They purchase the beans unroasted and roast them at their own plant in Seattle. In Costa Rica there are no names on the streets and the houses have no numbers because that is the way the people want it. They receive their mail via written directions from the closest church which always faces West.
All of these people were watching to great our ship as it passed through the final canal on the west side.
